Shopping Gluten Free

pb boxDid you know that you can shop for your favorite Gluten Free products online in one great place? I recently discovered that Amazon.com offers most of our favorite Gluten Free items online. My newest favorite is the new small cookie bites from WOW baking.com . It is a box of the most amazing peanut butter cookies, bite size! They also make them in Oregon Oatmeal and Ginger Molasses. The bite size cookies in the box are a new product for WOW Baking and can only be purchase at  Amazon.com or directly on their website.
I recently had a box of the Peanut Butter cookies with me when I went to a reception. They were gone in no time! Of course I brought them to share with other Gluten Free people, but most of the people who tried them were not Gluten Intolerant. Everyone loved the rich peanut flavor with the chewy and yet crisp texture of the cookies. I first fell in love with the individually wrapped large cookies when I was in the hospital. It was heaven-sent at the time and made me feel so good. I couldn’t believe anything Gluten Free could taste so good.

You can also purchase the large individual cookies in packs of 6 or 12 which is really nice because I can’t always find large quantities in the stores. The other thing that I really love about this company is that they are local, based in  Kent, WA. ( Amazon.com is also in Seattle!)
So shop local, Gluten Free and enjoy the cookies. They make a great hostess gift too!

Learning to live Gluten Free is a challenge. Gathering with like minded people while exchanging ideas, life experiences and gluten free food is more interesting! So I created, Gluten Free Foodies, to support Gluten Intolerant and other Food Sensitive people by gathering at monthly events and celebrating the foods that we can eat! Feel free to send me an email at glutenfreefoodie@gmail.com After all, didn't Erma Bombeck once say ... "I am not a glutton, I am an explorer of food."
