Sneak peek at Pacific Northwest Ballet’s “Cinderella”

February 4th, 2011 at Fri, 4th, 2011 at 1:51 pm by Chad Coleman

Mercer Island resident Ana Ko Glass has a role of  ”Good Fairy Attendant” in the upcoming Pacific Northwest Ballet production of Cinderella. I photographed Ana — and a few images of the production — during a full dress rehearsal at McCaw Hall in Seattle on Thursday, February 3, 2011, for the Mercer Island Reporter. More photos after the jump…

I first met Ana and her cast mates as they donned their costumes in a quick behind-the-scenes look as the children prepared for the dress rehearsal.

My assignment was to make some nice images of Ana on stage for the Reporter, but I could not just sit back as PNB company photographer Angela Sterling snapped production photos throughout the rehearsal. I guess it is thoroughly engrained in me to shoot, and I could not sit idly by and waiting for my moment, so here are a few images from Cinderella. Enjoy.

Dress rehearsal night even has a live audience of family and friends of the PNB and their supporters, a pretty good crowd on hand Thursday.
